Recognised for her great musicality and rich vocal timbre, Victoire Bunel is one of the rising stars of French lyric singing. Her artistic sensibility was developed, to a large extent, at the Maîtrise de Radio France, where she received a full musical and vocal education of the highest quality under the direction of Toni Ramon. She continued her studies at the Département Supérieur for young singers in Paris, at the Royal Academy of Music in London and at the Paris Conservatoire where she received her Master with the honours in June 2018.
Victoire Bunel will sing the role of Sirene in Coronis by S. Duron with Le Poème Harmonique for 15 shows (Opéra de Lille, Limoges, Caen, Rouen, Amiens and at the Opéra-Comique in Paris) and the role of Mélisande in Debussy’s Pelléas et Mélisande at the Théâtre du Capitole in Toulouse. She will sing several recitals in Opéra de Lille, Bordeaux, Théâtre du Capitole, Wigmore Hall in London and also at the Théâtre des Bouffes du Nord in Paris. Next summer she will be at the Festival d’Aix-en-Provence as a member of the Academy 2020 (postponed in 2021 due to coronavirus).
Victoire's first CD, recorded with Sarah Ristorcelli and the participation of the Quator Elmire, is dedicated to French Melodie (Séverac, Fauré and Chausson). It is available on Deezer, Spotify, Qobuz …. And in music shops.
