Born in Cañada de Gómez, Argentina, Ruben began to take singing lessons under maestro Rubén Coria while he was completing his Architecture studies and then joined the group Tritango, with whom he sang until 2002, when he emigrated to Europe.
In Italy he met guitarist and composer Adrián Fioramonti and bandoneonist Massimiliano Pitocco, with whom he performed on various stages in that country.
Since then, he has worked extensively with distinguished musicians and ensembles of the tango scene including pianist Hugo Aisemberg, Alfredo Marcucci’s Orquesta Típica, bandoneonists Marcelo Nisinman, Juanjo Mosalini and Darío Polonara, sextet Viento de Tango, quartet Tango Tinto and Hyperion Ensemble, with whom he has performed in the most renowned venues, theatres and festivals in Europe.
Ruben Peloni was frequently invited as solo singer to perform with symphonic groups such as Orquesta Sinfónica de Pesaro, Orchestre des Pays de Savoie, Budapest Symphony Orchestra, Bari Symphony Orchestra and Orchesta I Virtuosi Italiani, among others.
He has sung opera-tango María de Buenos Aires by Astor Piazzolla and Horacio Ferrer on several occasions and has lent his voice to several recordings.
In 2015 came his precious work of original music El Conjurado, Tangos Inéditos with Adrián Fioramonti (composer of the songs), Vincenzo Albini (violin), Darío Polonara (bandoneón), Fabrizio Pieroni (piano) and Guglielmo Caioli (double bass). In 2015, Ruben formed his own orchestra, Rubén Peloni and Los Tanturi, with which he has performed in the most renowned tango events in Europe to this day.
