Marzi Nyman (12.1.1979) is a Finnish electric guitar player, pianist, singer, composer and arranger, who enjoys many different ways of making music, but his great love is making chamber music. Nyman has composed works for orchestras, concertos for Violin and trumpet, chamber music, one Big Band suite (”Espoo suite”) and two albums of his own songs. He’s done music for film, TV and theater, and is a regular face as a session player in Finnish tv and on albums. Nyman has performed with Steve Vai, Anne Sofie von Otter and Lenny Pickett, and his gateway to the european chamber music festivals is the O Modernt festival in Stockholm, and he is very grateful for that, especially to his dear friend Hugo Ticciati. Nyman is tatally bananas about being part of the amazing Stiftfestival!
