Albert Steinberger, born in Vancouver, Canada, spent his childhood living in Germany, Taiwan, USA, Norway and Canada.
He encountered his first great passion for music in the boys choir of Trondheim, Norway which regularly toured internationally.
Moving to Germany, he at first attended the precollege program with Peter Rainer at the University of Arts Berlin. Being a member of the German Philharmonic String Orchestra, of which he was concertmaster for many years, was a huge artistic and musical influence for Albert. After graduating high school, he moved to Munich to receive his Bachelor and Masters degree with Prof. Julia Fischer.
He is presently pursuing his Master of Musical Arts Degree at Yale School of Music with Prof Augustin Hadelich.
