Metamorphosis: an emotional journey from darkness to light, in the ambiance of the medieval Plechelmus basilica. First piece of this concert is Strauss’ passionate, ecstatic ‘In memoriam’ , culminating in Beethoven’s joyful celebration of nature and love.
