Jorien Smelt (Vriezenveen, 2004) started making music at the age of ten. Jorien started with percussion lessons at the Vriezenveense Harmonie. Jorien is seventeen years old now and plays in the orchestra and percussion group of the Vriezenveense Harmonie. Regularly she is asked to play with other orchestras and associations. Jorien has already performed in many concert halls in the Netherlands and Germany. Jorien has also been part of European X and competed during the CGN Finals Indoor Percussion. She will finish her HAVO (Highschool) in the summer of 2021 and will start a nursing education course at the Viaa in Zwolle, in September.
