Swiss tenor Fabio Trümpy studied singing and English Literature in Zürich. He furthered his vocal education with Margreet Honig at the Amsterdam Conservatory and completed his studies with a master’s degree at the New Opera Academy in 2004. He has been a member of the Dutch Opera Studio in 2005 and attended master-classes with Barbara Bonney, Anthony Rolfe-Johnson, Rudolf Jansen and Roger Vignoles. Fabio Trümpy was a finalist in the Dutch Vocalist Presentation and was awarded the Prix des Amis du Festival d’Art Lyrique for his interpretation of Mozart during the Summer Festival in Aix-en-Provence in 2007.
